The showjumping carried on well into the evening. The weather was good which brought the crowds and everyone enjoyed themselves.” Mr Gibson said the show had held a minute’s silence at 2pm for Jack Hollows, a lifelong supporter of all the local shows with his sheepdogs and ferrets and also for Linda Hobbs who loved to come to Boon Hill show. Money raised from the event will go to the Yorkshire air ambulance, Scarborough District Hospital’s special care baby unit and other local charities.
